Servant Leadership
Ministry Foundation.

SLMIF is where ENDS began. Founded in Chiang Mai in 2019 by Rev. Dr. Yupho Mathusonsawan, the Servant Leadership Ministry Foundation trains pastors, evangelists, and disciple-makers across Thailand and Southeast Asia — under one motto: bring leaders back to the basics.

The ConvictionLeaders Who Serve First.

The foundation takes its name from the pattern Jesus set for his own disciples — leadership that begins with a basin and a towel, not a stage. Every arm of SLMIF is built to form that kind of leader: pastors and evangelists who are theologically grounded, personally humble, and equipped to raise up others.

From its base at the Payap University Mae Khaow campus in Chiang Mai, SLMIF works quietly and durably — not by importing Western missionaries, but by training the Thai and Karen believers already on the ground to reach their own people and the unreached peoples beyond them.

The WorkFour Arms, One Aim.

SLMIF carries its mission through four connected ministries:

SLA — The Academy

The International Servant Leadership Institute: a cohort-based leadership academy of roughly 123 teaching hours, built on a Pattern · Posture · Practice · Power framework. Pastors and leaders from across the region train together, in person and online.

KKBBSC — The Bible College

The Kawthoolei Karen Baptist Bible School & College (est. 2010) carries biblical and servant-leadership training to the Karen church of the borderlands and the wider Southeast Asian church — largely online, in the students' own languages.

SLE — The Frontline

The Servant Leadership Evangelist and Frontline Mission arm finds, trains, and releases national evangelists into the hardest places in Thailand. Its posture: we don't recruit them to leave; we resource them to stay.

SLC — The Conference

An annual Servant Leadership Conference gathers pastors, leaders, and regional partners for teaching, worship, and shared formation — the yearly meeting where the wider network is taught and sent.

His Story

Rev. Dr. Yupho earned his Doctor of Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary and built his life's work in Chiang Mai. Since 2019 he has led SLMIF's four arms and its frontline of national evangelists, serving as ENDS' founding partner leader — Partner 001.

Why It Matters

Dr. Yupho represents exactly the kind of leader ENDS exists to stand behind: a national who has given his life to training other nationals. When you support this work, you are not funding a program — you are resourcing a proven indigenous ministry to go further.

The FrontlineForty On The Ground.

Through the SLE arm, some forty frontline missionaries and evangelists are serving right now across Thailand and Southeast Asia — pastors, nurses, farmers, translators, and teachers carrying the gospel into prisons, slums, fishing villages, and unreached highlands. You can meet them by name and stand behind one.

Stand With ThemHow ENDS Partners.

ENDS does not run SLMIF's programs or direct its field. We serve it — connecting American churches and believers with a trusted indigenous ministry so that its training, its Bible college, and its frontline workers are prayed for and resourced. Gifts designated for this work stand behind Thai and Karen leaders reaching their own people.
